The TNTE XM177/GAU-5 Flash Can & Grenade Ring is reproduction piece for your Retro carbine build. This flash hider has wrench flats, and grenade ring. The bore of the flash can has a conical taper. The rear is chamfered to align the crush washer or shims (not included). The XM177 Flash Hider fits 1/2-28 threads and are machined from 4140 heat treated steel plus it has a durable phosphate finish. Flash Can overall length is 5.5" weight is 11.6 oz.
The shortest length barrel you can use with these and be legal for OAL is 11.3". Anything shorter after pin and weld will be an SBR. To correctly measure OAL you must insert a rod down the bore until it makes contact with the bolt face. DOES NOT INCLUDE A CRUSH WASHER.
