Here is one of our favorite custom builds. We decided to try and rebuild the old school USAF 604. These are using a true 20" .625 pencil barrel with a 1/7 twist. The barrel is made of 41V50 steel and the chamber/bore is chrome lined. We have also used a A1 Bird cage flash hider on it. Upper receiver is black finished. Handguards are our new production. BCG and Charging handle are included.

Had everything I wanted for my build.
Let me start with saying I did not want a clone. I wanted a pencil profile 20" 1:7 on a slick sided upper with M4 feed ramps, A1 rear sight, in black not grey. I still wonder if I should have gone QPQ over Chrome Lining but oh well. This upper came in a timely manner. It does have a 5 position A1 style front sight. I swapped out the handguard for ODG Magpul MOE handguards. and the 3 prong was replaced with a B.E. Myers 249F. Zeroed the irons then mounted an ACOG. I went with a Radian Raptor Charging Handle and Nickle Boron Bolt carrier. With a rifle buffer, it shoots about normal. Not over gassed.
