Exceeds expectations
I used this barrel for an early Colt 723 clone build. It’s light, handy, looks great, and as another reviewer noted, the pin & weld job is very low profile. I zeroed at 25 yards and got about 1/2” groups with a couple different kinds of inexpensive 55 grain ammo. Just for fun, I took it out to 100 yards to see what it would do. I expected to get about 2-3” groups. I did not! My first 3 shot group was right at 3/4th of an inch! I’m not an expert shooter, and with a mil-spec trigger and iron sights, I imagine it would be a difficult feat to reproduce. Still, I believe the barrel is mechanically capable of sub 1 MOA accuracy. I ordered my barrel on 24 OCT 2020, and it arrived about a month later on 20 NOV 2020. I would expect similar or longer delays if you are ordering in the 2020-2021 gun buying craze. Truly a Top Notch product and well worth the wait in my opinion.

. Perfect for a 723 build
I bought this with a pinned A2 FH to make an early 723 clone, and I love it. It fit easily, and looks well made. It's one of my favorite rifles now. And it works with a bayonet, for those wondering about the 14.7" barrel.

14.7" (16" OAL) PAW pencil barrel
Great product for any retro build. Nicely pinned and welded A1 flash suppressor.

Perfect one stop shop for retro build barrel
Bought a couple of these and am very happy with them. The phosphate finish matches my XM Grey retro receivers very nicely. Pin/weld barely noticable. Much easier than buying a barrel and the going through the process to have a muzzle device permanently attached! I now have 3 TNTE barrel assemblies on different retro builds (653, 723, 727) and they’re all fantastic! Thanks!!
