You asked for it and TNTE delivers! This Gov 11.5"barrel Kit with 5.5" flash hider will be a perfect for you XM or GAU clone. Featuring a 5.56 NATO chamber, the bore and chamber are nitride coated and the exterior has a QPQ finish. The barrel is made from 4150 11595E Steel. Twist is 1/7. The gas system length is carbine. In being a retro barrel, the gas block is .750" diameter. Forged front sight base is installed using taper pins. Our 5.5" flash hider has been pinned and welded for NFA compliance.

NFA Compliance: This barrel assembly is pinned and welded making it over 16" long. It is legal to us on a rifle lower.

This thing is great!
The quality seems excellent, it shoots straight, the hadguards fit well and to top it all off they cleaned up the pin & weld spot and coated it black so it would not stand out! Colt didnt even do this on their XM177 Retros that were rediculously expensive. Thanks TNTE!

5.56 XM-177 Barrel Kit QPQ Round
I finally got this installed on a Bushmaster lower. I took 5 shots to zero it at 25 yards with some Winchester 55 grainers and then I had some fun. I fired 20 rounds as fast I could to test the functionality of the rifle and it ran like a top. I shot 10 more rounds at about 50 yards to test if the zero held and it did. I fired at least 3 more 20 round magazines and not a hiccup in the bunch. The kit is well made; it went together easy and as best as I can tell it works great. It's worth the money. I'll probably be doing business with them again.
