You asked for it and TNTE delivers! This 14.5" barrel will be a perfect for your shorter highly maneuverable upper. Featuring a 5.56 NATO chamber, the bore and chamber are chrome lined and the exterior has a phosphate finish. The barrel is made from 4150 11595E Steel. The gas system length is mid. The gas block is .750" diameter. Forged front sight base is installed using taper pins. Our Extended A2 flash hider has been pinned and welded for NFA compliance.

Pinned and welded barrel
I bought this barrel for a carbine build, I wanted something compact and easy to handle for use indoors and of course legal. This fit the bill perfectly for me, the finish is excellent, you can clearly see the weld when you look for it but it’s not obtrusive. It is also very accurate. One thing to note on it is that the weight is not listed, this barrel is fairly heavy so if you are looking at short barrels to build a lightweight carbine this is not for you. But if you want a compact carbine that is still easy to maneuver and handle that’s also tough as nails this is your ticket.
